Steward's Report
A Lauterboom, trainer of Lone Gun declared a new weight of 34.1kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Lone Gun last raced at 35.5kgs.
A pre race sample was taken from Black Pontiac.
Snow Mistake was quick to begin. Lone Gun, Crusier's Sol and Black Pontiac were slow to begin. Miss Utamurra and Destroy collided approaching the first turn, checking Destroy and Black Pontiac and severely checking Miss Utamurra which stumbled and lost ground. Lone Gun and Why Not Logan raced wide on the home turn and again in the home straight. Destroy and Black Pontiac collided on the home turn.
Miss Utamurra was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a fractured left front toe, a 28 day stand down period was imposed.
