Steward's Report
Prior to the running of this event Stewards had to request the attendance of the hander of Mignon, Mr. J. Carrodus-Nagy to the kennels due to his failure to arrive and prepare his greyhound for racing by the appointed time.
Lady Jacinta and Blazing Thunder collided soon after the start checking Lady Jacinta. Hello Slick and Carmyle collided soon after the start. Blazing Thunder and Mignon collided approaching the first turn. Junipter Jones was checked off Carmyle on the first turn.
A sample was taken from Blazing Thunder - winner of the event.
Stewards spoke to Mr. J. Carrodus-Nagy, handler of Mignon regarding the circumstances of his late arrival at the kennels for this event. Taking into account Mr. Carrodus-Nagy was 11 minutes late to arrive Stewards charged him under GAR 46(1)(a to g), Mr. Carrodus-Nagy pleaded guilty to the charge, Stewards found Mr. Carrodus-Nagy guilty as charged and fined him the sum of $100.
