Miss Briony and Destini Firebird were slow to begin. Smokey Whispers and Annabow collided soon after the start checking Annabow. Ya Want Some crossed to the rail approaching the first turn. Crymelon Pink, Miss Briony, Umiko Bale and Destini Firebird collided on the first turn checking Destini Firebird. Crymelon Pink, Miss Briony and Umiko Bale collided approaching the second turn checking Miss Briony and Destini Firebird and severely checking Crymelon Pink. Smokey Whispers and Baroness Tiffie collided approaching the third turn checking Baroness Tiffie. Annabow raced wide entering the home straight.
