Steward's Report
Dasha was quick to begin. Silky Sock was slow to begin. Rockstar Swirl and Belt Up Tubsy collided soon after the start. Firebird Tess checked off Silky Sock approaching the first turn. Rockstar Swirl and Destini Supreme collided approaching the second turn. Firebird Tess and Destini Supreme collided several times on the home turn. Belt Up Tubsy veered out and marred the running of Dasha entering the home straight.
Belt Up Tubsy was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
Stewards spoke to Mrs. B. Ennis, the trainer of the greyhound Belt Up Tubsy regarding the greyhounds racing manners entering the home straight. Acting under GAR 69(1) stewards charged Belt Up Tubsy with marring. Mrs. Ennis pleaded guilty to the charge, Belt Up Tubsy was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Sandown and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
