Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr. T. Dailly, the trainer of Barton Bale regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Barton Bale last raced on 1st March 2017. Mr. Dailly stated that the greyhound was returning to racing from a back left toe amputation. Mr. Dailly also declared a new weight of 34.8kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Barton Bale last raced at 36.0kg.
Weasley Grange and Meehan Rosie were quick to begin. Zipping Vito and Ivanka Rose collided approaching the home turn checking Zipping Vito. Loosey Jabna and Meehan Rosie collided on the home turn and again entering the home straight. Meehan Rosie clipped the heels of Weasley Grange at the winning post and fell as a result. Meehan Rosie was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
