Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr Shane Wetzels, the trainer of Catweasel, regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Catweasel last raced on 17 February 2017 and is returning after being in season.
Castilleja and Iona Roby were slow to begin.
Iona Roby and Great Sheldor collided soon after the start and again at the 300m mark. Castilleja and Catweasel collided soon after the start. Catweasel and Markinch Maid collided at the 250m mark. Great Sheldor galloped on the heels of Iona Roby at the 200m mark.
Iona Roby was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained no apparent injury. No stand down period was imposed.
A sample was taken from Damoss, the winner of the event.
