Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr Patrick Furci, the trainer of Unusable, regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Unusable last raced on 19 January 2017 and is returning after suffering a fungal infection that affected both the greyhound's eyes and nose.
A pre-race sample was taken from Blazing Nitro.
Tricky Trey and Sorry Maurie were slow to begin.
Sorry Maurie and Oscar collided soon after the start. Dozer Lad and Blazing Nitro collided soon after the start. Oliver Cruise and Another Value collided at the 250m mark. Another Value checked off the heels of Oliver Cruise approaching the winning post. Sorry Maurie and Oscar collided approaching the winning post.

TRIAL 1
Satisfactory Trial Results (GAR 77A) - Stewards spoke to Mr Kevin Chivell, the trainer of Funkhouser, regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced. Funkhouser last raced on 1 October 2016. Mr Chivell stated that the greyhound had changed kennels. Pursuant to GAR 77A, Funkhouser trialled over the 300m from box eight, weight 31.8kg, the greyhound was placed first in a field of four. The time of the trial was 16.86, the greyhound won by a margin of 3.25L. Funkhouser was cleared.
TRIAL 2
Satisfactory Trial Results - Blue Odessa trialled over the 350m from box one, weight 28.9kg, the greyhound was placed third in a field of four. The time of the trial was 19.80, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 2.25L. Blue Odessa was cleared.
Satisfactory Trial Results - Starbright Madie trialled over the 350m from box eight, weight 29.5kg, the greyhound was placed fourth in a field of four. The time of the trial was 19.80, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 2.75. Starbright Madie was cleared (straight track only).
