Okay Penny, Ginza Lion and Quen Bale collided soon after the start severely checking Ginza Lion which fell as a result. Okay Penny checked off Glen Mika approaching the first turn. Quen Bale and Early Spring collided approaching the first turn checking Quen Bale. Quen Bale checked off Blackpool Alexis on the first turn. Quen Bale and Early Spring collided approaching the home turn. Quen Bale and Blackpool Alexis collided in the home straight.
Ginza Lion was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to right deltoid, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.
