Steward's Report

Raymond Allen and Black Lesta were quick to begin. Raymond Allen was slow to begin. Zorn Bale and Far Clif Dyno collided soon after the start. Greysynd Alpha, Zorn Bale and Far Clif Dyno collided approaching the first turn checking Far Clif Dyno and severely checking Zorn Bale. Zorn Bale eased in the home straight.

A sample was taken from Adorable Lady - the winner of the event.

Xava Allen was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a torn left hind nail, a five day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr J. Loverso, the handler of the greyhound Zorn Bale regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight. Zorn Bale was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left biceps, a five day stand down period was imposed.  Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Zorn Bale with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr Loverso pleaded guilty to the charge, Zorn Bale was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a),  before any future nomination will be accepted.
