Allen Quintus was slow to begin. Possibly and Riverdale Sugar collided soon after the start checking Possibly. Riverdale Sugar and Penny Pop collided on the first turn severely checking Riverdale Sugar. More Moment, Riverdale Sugar and Penny Pop collided on the home turn checking More Moment and Penny Pop. Sporto Brian and Possibly collided on the home turn and again in the home straight checking both greyhounds.
George Regis was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left flexor tendon, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.
