Steward's Report
A pre race sample was taken from Kalara.
Kalara and Catsford Allan were slow to begin. Maximum Tess and Melrose Drive collided soon after the start checking Maximum Tess. Shadow Bolt crossed to the rail approaching the first turn checking Kalara. Bellachino, Melrose Drive and West Side Jet collided on the first turn checking Melrose Drive and Shadow Bolt. Watsargo Sarge crossed to the rail on the first turn. Kalara checked off Melrose Drive approaching the home turn checking Shadow Bolt. Maximum Tess and Melrose Drive collided on the home turn.
Watsargo Sarge which faltered shortly after the winning post was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injuries to the left wrist, left flexor tendon and left monkey muscle. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
