Miss Premier was slow to begin. Simone's Magic checked off Marvelette soon after the start. Simone's Magic and Sharks Glory collided on the first turn, checking Sharks Glory and Remembering Rod. Simone's Magic checked off Money Dud entering the home straight, checking Miss Premier.

Remembering Rod was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained and injury to the right monkey muscle. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Storm Train was a late scratching at 10.24 AM due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Mr. K. Mitchell was fined the sum of $100.

Why Not Will faltered soon after the start and lost considerable ground. Wishes Fulfilled checked of Hollywood Pearl on the first turn. Tonk's Treasure checked off Rapid Mission on the home turn. 

Why Not Will was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left quadriceps.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

With A Whisper was quick to begin. Alpe D'Blanc and Fantasy Skye collided on the first turn, checking Alpe D'Blanc. Full Of Charm and Lola Allen collided on the first turn, checking Lola Allen and Fantasy Skye. Fantasy Skye checked off Lola Allen on the home turn. Alpe D'Blanc and Fantasy Skye collided on the home turn. With A Whisper and Severus Grange collided on several occassions approaching the winning post. 

Good Boloney and Why Not George were slow to begin. Ima Terror, Tayla's Banjo and Snapchat Queen collided on the first turn, checking Tayla's Banjo, Snapchat Queen and Sugar Mountain.

May's Melody was slow to begin. Doogee checked off Rival Scar on the first turn. Full Blown Turbo checked off Doogee in the back straight. Rival Scar raced wide in the back straight, checking May's Melody. Full Blown Turbo and May's Melody collided approaching the home turn checking Full Blown Turbo. 

A sample was taken from Doogee - the winner of the event.

Stewards spoke to Mr. J. Weir-smith, trainer of Doogee regarding the greyhound performing above market expectations in today's event. Mr. Weir-smith stated that Doogee was having it's first start for him today after a short spell. Mr. Weir-smith added that Doogee had been trialing well leading into today's event and felt, in his opinion the greyhound would be competitive. Stewards noted his comments and directed a sample be taken from the greyhound. 

A pre race sample was taken from Thor's Crest.

My Sirion was very slow to begin (4 lengths). Scorching Fella crossed to the rail on the first turn checking Rex On and Sharina Bomber. Thor's Crest checked off Rex On entering the home straight. 

Sharina Bomber was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to it's left back muscle.  A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Sisco Blast was a late scratching at 11.16 AM on the advice of the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon due to injury to the right front leg. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

A pre race sample was taken from Chabay Laray.

Tomdor was slow to begin. Campari Lad, Chabay Laray and Leachwood Lass collided soon after the start checking Campari Lad and Chabay Laray. Test Pilot checked off Noosa Parade on the first turn. Campari Lad and Noosa Parade collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Leachwood Lass and Slipaway Whitey collided in the home straight. Noosa Parade crossed to the rail approaching the winning post checking Slipaway Whitey and Leachwood Lass. 

Windsor Reign, Blue Squirrel and Moonlit Eyes were slow to begin. Blue Squirrel and Moonlit Eyes collided soon after the start checking Moonlit Eyes. Rowdy Richard checked off Tuscan Flex approaching the first turn and collided with Blue Squirrel as a result. Mademoiselle Sox checked off Tuscan Flex approaching the second turn. Blue Squirrel galloped on Mademoiselle Sox on the second turn checking Blue Squirrel. Tuscan Flex and La Flair collided entering the home straight. Moonlit Eyes raced wide in the home straight.

Watsargo Sarge which faltered shortly after the winning post was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injuries to the left wrist, left flexor tendon and left monkey muscle. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
