Steward's Report

Mutant, Taabinga Sprite and Fipa Narchi collided soon after the start. Mutant and Lou's Dreams collided approaching the first turn. Mutant and Harlem Shake collided on the first turn. Taabinga Sprite, Mutant and Harlem Shake collided on the second turn. Taabinga Sprite, Mutant and Lou's Dreams collided on the third turn, checking Taabinga Sprite and Lou's Dreams. Taabinga Sprite, Mutant and Lou's Dreams collided approaching the home turn and on the home turn. Taabinga Sprite and Lou's Dreams collided entering the home straight. Fipa Narchi and Mac Molly collided in the home straight.

A sample was taken from Allen Zhara - the winner of the event.

Mac Molly was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to both deltoid muscles and right pencil muscle, a seven day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to kennel representative Mr. P.  Riley regarding the overall performance of Mac Molly. Mr. Riley advised that Mac Molly was returning from an injury which required a spell of around 70 days, following surgery to repair the right metacarpal area. Further, Mac Molly tends to drift off and track wide in her races resulting in extra ground being inevitably covered. These facts, combined with today's injury, fully explain todays performance. The Stewards concurred, in that these submissiions truely reflected the performance of Mac Molly, and as such, no action was warranted or required.
