Steward's Report
An Out of Competition Sample was taken from Suffragette engaged in this event on 9 June 2017 pursuant to GAR 79A.
Pippy Dippy was slow to begin. Ando's Mac and Rosacky Thunder collided soon after the start checking Rosacky Thunder. Zinzan Brooke and Ando's Mac collided approaching the first turn checking Ando's Mac. Ando's Mac and Rosacky Thunder collided on the first turn checking Ando's Mac, Rosacky Thunder, Lucky Tetris and Pippy Dippy. Lucky Tetris and Flyrite collided on the second turn checking both greyhounds. Pepper Fire checked off Suffragette entering the back straight. Rosacky Thunder and Flyrite collided on the third turn checking Rosacky Thunder, Flyrite and Lucky Tetris.
Rosacky Thunder was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right back muscle, a 28 day stand down period was imposed.
A sample was taken from Zinzan Brooke, the winner of the event.
