Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr. W. Gent, the trainer of Rocket Riley regarding the length of time since the greyhound has had between races. Rocket Riley last raced on 21st February 2017. Mr. Gent stated that the greyhound was returning to race after a hock injury.
Spring Alis was quick to begin. Diyas and Rocket Riley collided approaching the first turn checking Rocket Riley. Bonna Bale, Make It Happen and Diyas collided on the first turn severely checking Make It Happen. Diyas, Bonna Bale and Sunningdale collided on the home turn.

Stewards spoke to Mr. J. Sharp, the trainer of Just Push Play regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced. Just Push Play last raced on 3rd March 2016. Mr. Sharp stated that the greyhound was returning to race after a right stopper injury. Pursuant to GAR 77A, Just Push Play trialled over the 400 metre distance from box 1, weight 31.2kgs. The greyhound was placed 1st, in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 22.70. The greyhound was won by a margin of a neck. Just Push Play was cleared.
Rapidfire Rita trialled over the 400 metre distance from box 3, weight 28.3kgs. The greyhound was placed 3rd, in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 22.70. The greyhound was beaten by a margin of 0.75 lengths. Rapidfire Rita was cleared.
