Cool Al was slow to begin.
Kolora Davey, Paris Marie and La Bella Mimi collided soon after the start checking Paris Marie. Reality Storm and Kolora Davey collided approaching the first turn checking Kolora Davey. Reality Storm checked off Cullquin Alexis on the first turn. Cool Al galloped on the heels of Reality Storm approaching the home turn, severely checking Cool Al, Too Far Out and Reality Storm, Reality Storm fell as a result.
Reality Storm was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a fracture to the right hock, and was humanely euthanased.
