Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr. W. Lambert, the trainer of Midnight El regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Midnight El last raced on the 19th of December, 2016. Mr. Lambert stated that Midnight el is returning to racing after being on season.
A pre race sample was taken from Liscoyle Lady.
Ninetymile Toby was slow to begin. Firey Lomar and Midnight El collided soon after the start checking Midnight El. Firey Lomar and Spanish Moon collided on the first turn checking Spanish Moon. Windmills and Liscoyle Lady collided approaching the home turn checking Liscoyle Lady. Spanish Moon checked off Liscoyle Lady approaching the home turn. Midnight El and Spanish Moon collided on the home turn checking both greyhounds.
Stewards spoke to Mr A. Welsh and issued him with a severe reprimand for language he used towards an official.
