Steward's Report
Gamine was a late scratching at 5.12pm on the advice of the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon due to illness. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Ms. V Cotton, the representative of Emeritus regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Emeritus last raced on 10 January 2017. Ms. Cotton stated that the greyhound had changed kennels and was returning from being spelled.
Pre race samples were taken from So Funny and Over The Radar.
Maximum Daddy was quick to begin. So Funny, Lady Tron, Ragnar Wilson and Over The Radar collided on the first turn, checking Ragnar Wilson and Over The Radar. Ragnar Wilson and Over The Radar collided on the home turn, checking Over The Radar. Lady Tron checked off So Funny entering the home straight. So Funny and Lady Tron collided in the home straight, checking So Funny.
