Steward's Report
Besta Bale was quick to begin. Jemma's Fantasy and Adorable Lady collided approaching the first turn, checking Keep On Runnin'. Dyna Lunus checked off Zou Bisou Bisou approaching the first turn. Keep On Runnin' checked off Jemma's Fantasy approaching the home turn. Lektra Jenny checked off Adorable Lady approaching the home turn. Adorable Lady and Lektra Jenny collided entering the home straight. Dyna Linus made contact and marred the running of Jemma's Fantasy in the home straight.
Samples were taken from Besta Bale (1st) and Love To Dream (2nd).
Dyna Linus was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
Stewards spoke to G Dailly, the representative of the greyhound Dyna Linus regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight. Acting under GAR 69(1) stewards charged Dyna Linus with marring. G Dailly pleaded guilty to the charge, Dyna Linus was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Ballarat and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
