Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Ms A Terry, the trainer of My Arizona Room regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. My Arizona Room last raced on 5th January, 2017. Ms Terry stated that My Arizona Room was returning to race after being on season.
A pre-race sample was taken from Price Tag.
My Arizona Room and Kev's Fantasy were quick to begin. Team Son and Price Tag were slow to begin. Steel Fury checked off Lost Blue soon after the start. Team Son checked off Price Tag approaching the first turn. Brace For Impact checked off Lost Blue approaching the first turn. Brace For Impact and Price Tag collided on the first turn checking Price Tag causing Team Son to race wide as a result. Lost Blue, Steel Fury and Avatar Wolf collided on the home turn checking Avatar Wolf and Steel Fury. Brace For Impact and Team Son raced wide on the home turn and again in the home straight. Steel Fury and Price Tag collided in the home straight checking Steel Fury.
Stewards spoke to Trainer, Mr G. Gledhill regarding the direction that the greyhound Steel Fury be boxed first. Acting under GAR 52(2) Stewards directed that this box first be removed.
