Steward's Report
Kayley's Comet was a late scratching by Order Of Stewards at 2:09pm due to presenting the incorrect greyhound. Pursuant to GAR 31(1) Trainer Mr M. Chilcott was fined the sum of $250.
Track Curator Mr. M. Pell advised stewards that the track was lightly harrowed on 21st May 2017.
Warming Galos was quick to begin. Gundal Schoppy and Warming Galos collided soon after the start. Harry's Hunni and Cullquin Jethro collided soon after the start. Gundal Schoppy and Tat Barbie collided on the first turn checking Tat Barbie. Blackhawk Dee and Darley Dollar collided on the first turn. Tat Barbie and Cullquin Jethro collided approaching the second turn. Blackhawk Dee, Darley Dollar and Gundal Schoppy collided on the second turn checking Gundal Schoppy. Warming Galos, Blackhawk Dee and Darley Dollar collided approaching the home turn. Gundal Schoppy checked off Blackhawk Dee on the home turn. Gundal Schoppy and Tat Barbie collided entering the home straight. Blackhawk Dee and Darley Dollar collided entering the home straight. Warming Galos and Blackhawk Dee collided approaching the winning post.
Harry's Hunni was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound suffered mild thumps. A stand down period of 3 days was imposed.
