Destini Seajewel, Makikos and Heartbreak Mary collided soon after the start. Sisco Blast crossed to the rails approaching the first turn checking Destini Seajewel, Makikos and Heartbreak Mary. Sisco Blast and Ima Ebay collided on the first turn checking Ima Ebay. Dynamite Jackson checked off Leachwood Lass approaching the first turn. Destini Seajewel, Makikos and Heartbreak Mary collided on the home turn checking Heartbreak Mary and causing Makikos to fall. Claretown Boris and Leachwood Lass collided entering the home straight.
Makikos was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
