Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr. L. Mitchell, the trainer of Mo Green regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Mo Green last raced on the 19th of February 2017. Mr. Mitchell stated that Mo Green was returning to racing following a change of kennel.
King Of Sunshine and Mo Green collided soon after the start checking King Of Sunshine. Oz Ten Tatious and Blackalls Lad collided approaching the first turn checking Miss Just Under. Scanez Elect, Bambalam Tilly, Miss Just Under and King Of Sunshine collided on the first turn checking Bambalam Tilly and causing King Of Sunshine to fall. Blackalls Lad checked off Mo Green approaching the home turn. Miss Just Under raced wide on the home turn.
King Of Sunshine was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained and injury to the right quadriceps, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.
