Stewards spoke to Mr M.Davison, the trainer of Yeah Nah Redge regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Yeah Nah Redge last raced on 6 February 2016. Mr Davison stated the greyhound was returning to race following a right wrist injury.
Ultra Sharky and Dodger's Beauty were quick to begin. Sharks Glory and Miss Springer were slow to begin.
Ultra Sharky and Dodger's Beauty collided soon after the start checking Dodger's Beauty. Yeah Nah Redge and Miss Springer collided approaching the first turn checking Yeah Nah Redge. Big Tilly checked off Blenile Breeze on the home turn. Miss Springer and Yeah Nah Redge collided on the home turn and again in the home straight. Blenile Breeze raced wide in the home straight. Yeah Nah Redge and Miss Springer collided several times in the home straight.
