Stewards spoke to Mr P.Osborn, the trainer of Cordite Alert regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Cordite Alert last raced on 31 December 2016. Mr Osborn stated that the greyhound was resuming racing following a left shoulder injury.

My Camelot and Money Dud collided soon after the start checking Money Dud. My Camelot and Money Dud collided approaching the first turn checking My Camelot. Emma's Sparrow and Remembering Rod collided on the first turn checking Remembering Rod, Cordite Alert and Spa Vulpix. Remebering Rod galloped on the heels of Emma's Sparrow approaching the home turn, checking Remembering Rod, Cordite Alert and Emma's Sparrow. My Camelot raced wide in the home straight. My Rachael and Emma's Sparrow collided in the home straight.

My Camelot was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right triceps, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

An Out of Competition Sample was taken from Scrappy Doo engaged in this event on 13th May 2017 pursuant to GAR 79A.

My Mandara was quick to begin.

Not Onya Own and Dodging Danger collided soon after the start. Topaz Warrior, Spring Time Miss and Spa Doduo collided approaching the first turn checking Spring Time Miss, Spa Doduo and Warming Galo's. Spring Time Miss, Not Onya Own and Warming Galo's collided approaching the first turn checking Warming Galo's and Spa Doduo. Dodging Danger and Out Of Alcatraz collided on the first turn checking Dodging Danger. Out Of Alcatraz raced wide on the home turn.

Way Things Are was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left quadriceps and stifle, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Miss Skye High was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right triceps, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Blue Berty was quick to begin.

Honestly Bob, Spa Squirtle and Blue Berty collided approaching the first turn checking Coringel Ebony and Raglan Bindi and severley checking Honestly Bob. Blue Berty checked off Shadow Diamond on the first turn. Coringel Ebony checked off Osti's Raider on the first turn. 

Honestly Bob was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left triceps, left gracilis and left quadricpes, a 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr M.Niele  the trainer of Corleone regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Corleone last raced on 20 December 2016. Mr Niele stated that the greyhound was resuming racing following a change of kennel.

Kolora Davey, Simone's Magic, Hagrid Grange and Stitch Gun Miss collided soon after the start checking Stitch Gun Miss. Hagrid Grange and Uber Biel collided on the first turn causing Uber Biel to stumble and loose ground. Stitch Gun Miss, Simones's Magic and It Is Done collided on the first turn. Hagrid Grange checked off Big Boy Rocket approaching the home turn and raced wide. Kolora Davey and Big Boy Rocket collided entering the home straight checking Big Boy Rocket. 

Uber Biel was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Stewards spoke to Mr M.Davison, the trainer of Yeah Nah Redge regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Yeah Nah Redge last raced on 6 February 2016. Mr Davison stated the greyhound was returning to race following a right wrist injury.

Ultra Sharky and Dodger's Beauty were quick to begin. Sharks Glory and Miss Springer were slow to begin. 

Ultra Sharky and Dodger's Beauty collided soon after the start checking Dodger's Beauty. Yeah Nah Redge and Miss Springer collided approaching the first turn checking Yeah Nah Redge.
