Hit The Highway was slow to begin.
Leo's Gift and Allen Gerwen collided soon after the start, approaching the first turn and again on the first turn. Mepunga Fame, Zambora Beau and Yarraman Ace collided on the first turn checking Mepunga Fame and Zamora Beau. Leo's Gift raced wide on the second turn. Hit The Highway and Zambora Beau collided on the second turn checking Zambora Beau. Zambora Beau checked off Mepunga Fame on the third turn. Hit The Highway checked off Yarraman Ace on the home turn causing Hit The Highway and Henry to collide. Mepunga Fame and Zambora Beau collided on the home turn.
Mepunga Fame was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
