An Out of Competition Samples were taken from Bruce Tycoon and Unlawful Entry, engaged in this event on 22/5/17 pursuant to GAR 79A.
Bewildering, Bruce Tycoon and Unlawful Entry were slow to begin.
Bruce Tycoon checked off Igor Karkaroff soon after the start. Bruce Tycoon and Unlawful Entry collided approaching the first turn. Bubble Guppy and Igor Karkaroff collided approaching the first turn. Bubble Guppy, Invictus Rapid and Black Mumbo collided on the first turn checking Invictus Rapid and Black Mumbo. Bruce Tycoon raced wide on the first turn causing Unlawful Entry to race wide. Bewildering galloped on Invictus Rapid on the second turn checking Invictus Rapid and severely checking Bewildering, Bruce Tycoon and Unlawful Entry.
Bruce Tycoon was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right deltoid injury, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.
Blood and Urine samples were taken from placegetters - Black Mumbo (1st), Jimmy Newob (2nd) and Bubble Guppy (3rd).
