Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr. K. Bailey the trainer of Select Daniel regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Select Daniel last raced on 14/12/16. Mr. Bailey stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following a left stopper injury.
Pursuant to GAR 104(6) Parade Steward Mr. A. Kleeven did not act in any official capacity for this event.
Select Daniel and Nifty Neveelk were quick to begin. Richo Richo Girl and Explosive Sky collided soon after the start. Nitro Hook contacted the running rail on the first turn checking Select Daniel and Willowvale Wings and severely checking Nitro Hook. Explosive Sky, Nifty Neveelk and Richo Richo Girl collided on the first turn. Nitro Hook, Select Daniel and Explosive Sky collided on the home turn.
Nitro Hook was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no injury apparent.
