Mr. P. Martinovic the representative of Stella View declared a new weight of 31.2kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2).  Stella View last raced at 30.1kg.

The Club Veterinary Surgeon examined Flying Vulcan and no illness was detected. The greyhound was a late scratching at 5:49pm due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Mr. G. Febey was fined the sum of $100.

Monster Fish was quick to begin.  Kyante was slow to begin.  Zulu Reign and Stella View collided soon after the start checking Stella View.  Headline News and Kyante collided in the home straight checking Kyante.

Miss Oreo Mac was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no injury apparent.

Lottie Biscotti was vetted after the greyhound fell past the winning post, it was reported that there was no injury apparent.

Foxzami Legend and Merchant Prince were slow to begin.  Bruree Chief and Always Alone collided soon after the start.  Merchant Prince galloped on Star Of Anand on the first turn checking Merchant Prince and Foxzami Legend and severely checking Star Of Anand and Hurricane Craig.  Foxzami Legend and Merchant Prince collided on the first turn severley checking Foxzami Legend.

Chromosome Four was quick to begin.  Lou's Dream was slow to begin.  Renaldo and Knightrider collided soon after the start.  Chromosome Four crossed to the rail approaching the first turn severely checking Mimosa and Cambo's Cindy and checking Missed My Stop and Knightrider.  Mimosa galloped on Cambo's Cindy on the first turn.  Missed My Stop and Ringading Sister collided on the home turn.

Foxzami Insider was a late scratching at 3:53pm due to injury (GAR 23).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted.

Magic Super was a late scratching at 6.24pm on the advice of the Club's Veterinary Surgeon due to a right monkey muscle injury.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. D. Knocker, the Trainer of Flying Zarli regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Flying Zarli last raced on 6 January 2016.  Mr Knocker stated that the greyhound was  returning to racing following a right monkey muscle injury.

Audacious Mickan was slow to begin.  Lloyd Street and Flying Zarli collided soon after the start.  Burnt Rubber and Jasocate collided approaching the first turn checking Jasocate.  Flying Zarli, Vane Blue and Burnt Rubber collided approaching the first turn checking Vane Blue and Flying Zarli.  Audacious Mickan and Metro's Girl collided entering the home straight.  Lloyd Street, Burnt Rubber and Jasocate raced wide in the home straight.

Track Curator Mr. M. Bickerdike advised Stewards that the track was lightly harrowed on 01/05/17.

Satisfactory Trial and blinkers on result - Time To Launch trialled over the 400m from box 1, weight 27.2kg, the greyhound was placed second in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 23.05 secs, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 1.5 lengths. Time To Launch was cleared and cleared to race in blinkers.
