Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr B. Bravo. trainer of the greyhound Kayda Shae which had not raced since 6 November 2015. Mr Bravo stated that the greyhound was returning to racing after suffering a right bone stopper injury.
American Warrior and To The Choppar collided soon after the start and again approaching the first turn, checking American Warrior. Darpa Bale and Both Sides Now collided approaching the first turn. American Warrior and Zigstar collided on the first turn, checking Zigstar. Both Sides Now and To The Choppar collided on the first turn, checking both greyhounds. Zigstar faltered approaching the home turn and lost considerable ground.
Zigstar was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right back muscle, a 21 day stand down period was imposed.
