Kirabilli Lacey was slow to begin. Cool Sam, Wolf Spy, Lektra Damage and Augusta Dreaming collided on the first turn, severely checking Lektra Damage. Lektra Damage raced wide on the home turn. Kirabilli Lacey raced wide entering the home straight.
