Faithful Hill was quick to begin.  Djay Billie was slow to begin.  Bernadeen crossed to the outside soon after the start checking Brandeen Chief, Dashing Magic and Soda Blast.  Brandeen Chief, Bernadeen and Dashing Magic collided on the first turn checking Bernadeen and Brandeen Chief.  Brandeen Chief checked off Dashing Magic approaching the home turn.  Brandeen Chief and Soda Blast collided on the home turn.

Dusty Chopstix was quick to begin.  Lady Jacinta was slow to begin.  Candyo and Brandeen Tubbs collided several times soon after the start checking Candyo.  Dashing Des, Candyo, Brandeen Tubbs and Returned Karma collided approaching the first turn checking Candyo, Brandeen Tubbs and Returned Karma.  Candyo contacted the rail approaching the first turn.  Lady Jacinta and Dr. Oliver collided on the first turn checking Lady Jacinta.  Dr. Oliver and Dashing Des collided several times entering the home straight.

Candyo was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a cut to the left wrist, a 3 day stand down period was imposed.

Returned Karma was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left toe injury, a 3 day stand down period was imposed.

This race jumped approximately 5 minutes late due to a malfunction with the computer in the kennelling area. 

Noaki Princess was very slow to begin (4 lengths).  Dr. Kestrel checked off Why Not Roy soon after the start.  Blazing Thunder, Why Not Roy and Miss Giblet collided soon after the start checking Why Not Roy.  Blazing Thunder and Miss Giblet collided approaching the first turn checking Miss Giblet.  Blazing Thunder checked off Sharkies Arrow on the first turn.  Dr. Kestrel checked off Why Not Roy on the first turn.  Why Not Roy and Miss Giblet collided on the third turn checking Dr. Kestrel and Miss Giblet, causing Atomiser to race wide.  Dr. Kestrel and Miss Giblet collided on the home turn checking Miss Giblet.

Stewards noted the muzzle of Noaki Princess had become wedged in the greyhounds mouth at box rise and throughout the remainder of the event. 

Noaki Princess was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained bruising to the left leg, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Hoof It, Our First Lady and Asa Barboza were quick to begin.  My Boy Rylan and Master Kooper collided soon after the start.  Mustang Sammy and Go Vicki collided soon after the start.  Master Kooper galloped on the heels of My Boy Rylan approaching the first turn checking Master Kooper.  Hoof It and Our First Lady collided on the first turn checking Hoof It.  Go Vicki and Tycore Lad collided approaching the home turn checking Go Vicki.  Master Kooper, Tycore Lad and Go Vicki collided on the home turn checking Go Vicki and Tycore Lad.  Mustang Sammy raced wide on the home turn and again in the home straight.

Booma Mikado was quick to begin.  Mr. Stealer and Magic Ambush collided soon after the start checking Mr. Stealer.  Yeah Whatever checked off Hot Blooded approaching the first turn.  Jazaan's Boy and Zall Good collided several times approaching the home turn checking Zall Good.

You Say So and Cruiser's Sol were quick to begin.  Classy Sparks checked off Proven Chops approaching the first turn.  You Say So and Cruiser's Sol colided on the first turn.  Proven Chops and Maury Spirit collided on the first turn and again on the home turn.  Cruiser's Sol and Harlon collided on the home turn.

As Sweet As was a late scratching at 6:06pm by order of Stewards after the incorrect greyhound was presented at kennelling. No stand down period was imposed. 

Black Chevelle was quick to begin.  Sacred Diamond and Melody Pond collided soon after the start.   Careless Cookie checked off Black Chevelle soon after the start.  Stick Hero and Careless Cookie collided approaching the first turn.  Melody Pond and Careless Cookie collided on the first turn checking Melody Pond.

Black Chevelle was vetted following the event after an incident in the catchnig pen.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Stewards charged Mrs S Dalton, the trainer of As Sweet As pursuant to GAR 31 (1) after the incorrect greyhound was presented at kennelling. Mrs Dalton pleaded guilty to the charge and was fined the sum of $250.00. 

Thunder Raz was slow to begin.  Boss Senor, Zambora Beau, Pipeline Rumour and Cosmic Tate collided soon after the start checking Pipeline Rumour.  Boss Senor and Zambora Beau collided approaching the first turn checking Zambora Beau.  Pipeline Rumour checked off Thunder Raz on the first turn.  Thunder Raz, Zambora Beau and Boss Senor collided approaching the winning post.

Blue Surfonic and Shiny Ice were quick to begin.  Alexia Rae was slow to begin.  Arejay Belle and Alexia Rae collided soon after the start.  Shake The Night crossed to the outside on the first turn and lost considerable ground.  Avatar Sandee checked off Mental Burst on the first turn.

Shake The Night was vetted following the event and was revetted following Race 11.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left monkey muscle, a 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Bag Of Magic, Malady Aubrey and Mighty Bree were quick to begin.  Nancy Botwin was slow to begin.  Sonny's Honey and Soda Storm collided on the first turn checking Nancy Botwin and Soda Storm.  Dee's Diamond raced wide throughout the event.

Allen Impose, Lethal Spider and Hunter's Hero were slow to begin.  Allen Impose and Lethal Spider collided soon after the start.  Pirlo, Dash Of Scotch and Bird Special collided soon after the start causing Dash Of Scotch to gallop on the heels of Bird Special, checking Lethal Spider, severely checking Dash Of Scotch.  Bird Special galloped on the heels of Pirlo on the first turn, severely checking Pirlo.  Dash Of Scotch raced wide approaching the home turn.  Dash Of Scotch and Lethal Spider collided on the home turn.  Coogan's Regret and Hunter's Hero collided entering the home straight and again in the home straight.

Yorgi Blues and Snow Matter collided soon after the start.  Chuck's Me Boy and Shellington collided approaching the first turn checking Chuck's Me Boy.  Dr. Bodacious, Shellington and Worthy Reab collided on the first turn checking Shellington.  Chuck's Me Boy and Yorgi Blues collided approaching the home turn and again on the home turn.  Yorgi Blues and Snow Matter collided in the home straight.  Dr. Bodacious crossed to the inside in the home straight causing Rylies Jack to gallop on the heels of Dr. Bodacious, checking both greyhounds.  Rylies Jack tired over the concluding stages of the event.

Stewards spoke to Mr W Mcmahon, the trainer of Dr Bodacious reagrding the greyhound's racing manners in the home straight. Mr McMahon stated in his opinion the greyhound suffered interferance from behind after crossing to the rail. Stewards noted the explanation and after viewing the official race replay and head on footage, took no further action.
