Steward's Report

This race jumped approximately 5 minutes late due to a malfunction with the computer in the kennelling area. 

Noaki Princess was very slow to begin (4 lengths).  Dr. Kestrel checked off Why Not Roy soon after the start.  Blazing Thunder, Why Not Roy and Miss Giblet collided soon after the start checking Why Not Roy.  Blazing Thunder and Miss Giblet collided approaching the first turn checking Miss Giblet.  Blazing Thunder checked off Sharkies Arrow on the first turn.  Dr. Kestrel checked off Why Not Roy on the first turn.  Why Not Roy and Miss Giblet collided on the third turn checking Dr. Kestrel and Miss Giblet, causing Atomiser to race wide.  Dr. Kestrel and Miss Giblet collided on the home turn checking Miss Giblet.

Stewards noted the muzzle of Noaki Princess had become wedged in the greyhounds mouth at box rise and throughout the remainder of the event. 

Noaki Princess was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained bruising to the left leg, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.

A sample was taken from Sharkies Arrow, the winner of the event.
