Stewards spoke to Mr Kevin Ward and issued him with a severe reprimand for failing to retrieve his greyhound from the kennels by the required time.

Katie Alouette and Well Spotted collided soon after the start checking Katie Alouette. Well Spotted checked off Secret Choice approaching the first turn. Cullquin Brutus checked off Breasha approaching the first turn. Cullquin Brutus, Katie Alouette and Well Spotted collided on the first turn checking Cullquin Brutus and Well Spotted. Fearing Peggy, Cullquin Brutus and Well Spotted collided on the first turn checking Well Spotted. Fearing Peggy and Cullquin Brutus collided approaching the home turn checking Fearing Peggy. Fearing Peggy and Cullquin Brutus collided on the home turn checking both greyhounds several times. Girl Guide and Secret Choice collided in the home straight. Breasha eased in the home straight. Katie Alouette was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained spike wounds to the right hock. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Breasha was vetted following the event. It was reported  that there was no apparent injury. Trainer Mr S Hamilton declined a re-vet.

Stewards spoke to Sheldon Hamilton, the trainer of the greyhound Breasha regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight. Acting under GAR 69(A)(1) stewards charged Breasha with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr Hamilton pleaded guilty to the charge, Breasha was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Ballarat and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted. 

Mr S Hamilton advised Stewards that it is his intention to retire the greyhound from racing.

Crazy Hawke was a late scratching at 11:56AM on the advice of the club's Veterinary Surgeon due ot injury. A 3 day stand down period was imposed. 

Stellar Impact was quick to begin. Bubsy John, Moria Magic and Flash Response were slow to begin.

Stewards withheld the All Clear to allow them to view the replay of the start of the race. After viewing the official patrol footage and acting on their own observations, Stewards were satisfied that Monaleen Deejay was not denied a fair start and the All Clear was given on the Judges numbers 8, 2, 5 & 6. 

Stewards issued a warning to Mr D Murray the trainer of Monaleen Deejay regarding the greyhound's racing manners in the boxes.

Stewards spoke to Mr. M. Mcguire, the trainer of Sootette regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Sootette last raced on 28th of December, 2015. Mr. Mcguire stated that Sootette is returning to racing after being on season.
