Steward's Report
Charlie Three was slow to begin. Tally Ho Lass was very slow to begin (6 lengths). Quink and Like A Bailey collided soon after the start checking Like A Bailey. Quink crossed to the outside approaching the first turn and collided with Mister Mann; Mister Mann, Spinach and Ginto Zac were checked and Like A Bailey was severely checked as a result. Spinach checked off Mister Mann approaching the home turn. Selynya Flash raced wide on the home turn.
Like A Bailey was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a laceration to its head. A 3 day stand down period was imposed.
Tally Ho Lass was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
Stewards issued a warning to Ms. A. Kampman, the trainer of the greyhound Tally Ho Lass regarding the greyhound's boxing manners in this event.
