Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Ms. B. Franklin, the handler of the greyhound Ima Warrior regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Ima Warrior last raced on 4th January 2016. Ms. Fanklin stated that the greyhound was returning to race after a change of kennel.
A pre-race sample was taken from Smooth Silver.
Ima Warrior was slow to begin. Planetman and Diane's Lass collided approaching the first turn. Smooth Silver checked off Neliel Bale approaching the first turn. Planetman and Diane's Lass collided on the first turn checking Diane's Lass; Diane's Lass collided with Kifinti causing Diane's Lass to lose ground as a result. Kifinti and Planetman collided approaching the home turn. Southwood Lloyd checked off Neliel Bale in the home straight. Ima Warrior cramped over the concluding stages of the event.
Ima Warrior was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained cramp. No stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr. C. Glen, the trainer of the greyhound Ima Warrior. Acting in accordance with GAR 71 (Cramp), Stewards directed that the greyhound must perform a Satisfactory Trial before any future nomination will be accepted.

Satisfactory Trials
Trial 1 - 390 metre distance
Stewards spoke to Mr. P. Gabriel, the trainer of Stroma regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced. Stroma last raced on 21st January 2015. Mr. Gabriel stated that the greyhound was returning to race after a back muscle injury. Pursuant to GAR 77A, Stroma trialled over the 390 metre distance from box 3, weight 34.0kgs. The greyhound was placed 1st, in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 22.74. The greyhound won by a margin of 0.25 lengths. Stroma was cleared.
Trial 2 - 450 metre distance
All Included trialled over the 450 metre distance from box 8, weight 29.8kgs. The greyhound was placed 1st, in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 25.94. The greyhound won by a margin of 0.5 lengths. All Included was cleared.
Breasha trialled over the 450 metre distance from box 5, weight 25.7kgs. The greyhound was placed 3rd, in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 25.94. The greyhound was beaten by a margin of 0.75 lengths. Breasha was cleared.
