Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr.P.Santoro, the trainer of Lee I Am regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Lee I Am last raced on 11 January 2016. Mr.Santoro stated that the greyhound was resuming racing after a change of kennels.
Ernie Old, Lee I Am and Caco Potion were slow to begin.
Ernie Old and Lee I Am collided soon after the start. Gawker Bale checked off Midnight Ride approaching the first turn. Sugar Hit Johnny and Maverick Flash collided approaching the first turn. Ernie Old and Caco Potion collided approaching the home turn. Sugar Hit Johnny and Maverick Flash collided on the home turn. Eddie Yap tired over the concluding stages of the event.
Gawker Bale was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury.
Eddie Yap was vetted and revetted following race 7. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left wrist. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
