French Affair and Jockey Bale collided approaching the first turn. Belt Up Foss and Lektra Timon collided on the first turn checking Jockey Bale, French Affair and Space Emm and severely checking Nudge Nudge which fell as a result. Bingo Sally raced wide on the home turn. French Affair and Horizon raced wide in the home straight.

Spring Bloom, Bopa Allen and Zipping Sally collided soon after the start checking Zipping Sally. Asa Barboza, Zipping Jane and Bopa Allen collided approaching the first turn checking Bopa Allen. Bopa Allen and Zipping Sally collided approaching the first turn. Zipping Jane and Paua To Engage collided approaching the first turn. Zipping Jane checked off Paua To Engage approaching the home turn checking Zipping Sally. Bopa Allen and Zipping Sally collided on the home turn checking both greyhounds. Asa Barboza and Spring Bloom collided entering the home straight and again in the home straight. Spring Bloom marred the running of Asa Barboza in the home straight.

Spring Bloom was vetted and revetted following race 7. It was reported that there was no apparent injury.

Stewards spoke to K Heinirch, the handler of the greyhound Spring Bloom regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight. Acting under GAR 69(1) Stewards charged Spring Bloom with marring. K Heinrich pleaded guilty to the charge, Spring Bloom was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Ballarat and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Splish Splashin' and Careless Cookie were quick to begin.

Zipping Vito and Road Driller collided soon after the start. Monaleen Ned, Unlocked and Road Driller collided soon after the start checking Unlocked and Road Driller. Spring Bumblebee and Careless Cookie collided on the first turn checking Spring Bumblebee, Careless Cookie and Monaleen Ned. Zipping Vito checked off Careless Cookie approaching the home turn. Monaleen Ned checked off Spring Bumblebee on the home turn. Road Driller, Careless Cookie and Zipping Vito raced wide in the home straight.

Stewards spoke to  Mr.P.Santoro, the trainer of Lee I Am  regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Lee I Am last raced on 11 January 2016.  Mr.Santoro stated that the greyhound was resuming racing after a change of kennels.

Gawker Bale was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury.

Eddie Yap was vetted and revetted following race 7. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left wrist. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Seabrook Girl was slow to begin.

Our Shiraz and Rhapsody Twist collided soon after the start. Benta Bale crossed to the rail on the first turn checking Bronco De Jurer, Our Shiraz and Seabrook Girl and severely checking Athos which lost considerable ground. Our Shiraz checked off Seabrook Girl approaching the second turn. Rhapsody Twist and Boo Shey raced wide approaching the winning post.

Dark Magnum was quick to begin. Cash And Co, Andelven and Midnight Outlaw were slow to begin.

Morson Senor and Gia collided approaching the first turn. Morson Senor and Magic Success collided on the first turn. Cash And Co and Morson Senor collided approaching the home turn and again entering the home straight. Gia and Magic Success collided in the home straight. Andelven checked off Morson Senor approaching the winning post.

Immortal Power, Capullo Bale and Wobbler collided soon after the start. Dyna Krypto and High Mission collided soon after the start. Must Have galloped on the heels of High Mission soon after the start severely checking High Mission. Capullo Bale and Dyna Krypto collided approaching the first turn. Immortal Power checked off Dyna Krypto on the first turn and collided with Capullo Bale. Must Have and Hardy Chief collided on the first turn checking Hardy Chief. Must Have and Capullo Bale collided approaching the home turn checking Capullo Bale. Jive Time cheked off Dyna Krypto in the home straight.

High Mission was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury.

Mrs. A.Dailly, trainer of Dynah Jonah declared a new weight of 31.4kg  for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2).Dynah Jonah last raced at 32.6kg.

Stefanovic was slow to begin.

Astromatic and Dyna Jonah collided soon after the start checking Dynamo's Gift. Rip It and Astromatic collided approaching the first turn. Big Show Mullo and Cosmic Tate collided on the first turn. Dynamo's Gift checked off Astromatic on the first turn. Rip It checked off Stefanovic on the first turn. Dyna Jonah raced wide approaching the home turn. Rip It raced wide in the home straight.

Paua Of Terror was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury.

Mr.O.Mcgovern, trainer of Jack's Jet declared a new weight of 32.1kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Jack's Jet  last raced at 33.7kg.

Little Arandt checked off Lektra Blicavs on the first turn and collided with Jai Alai. Shifty Jack checked off Jai Alai on the home turn. Jack's Jet raced wide in the home straight.

Tommy's Terror and Dovizioso were slow to begin.

Extradition crossed to the rail approaching the first turn checking Bojack Kahn, Bigboy Brownless, Cotton Bud Joe, Ay Goodes and Lektra Bravo. Dovizioso and Tommy's Terror collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn checking Tommy's Terror. Lektra Bravo and Dovizioso collided on the first turn checking Bojack Kahn and Bigboy Brownless and severely checking Dovizioso which fell as a result.

Dovizioso was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained abraded hind paws and spike wounds to both hindlegs. A 3 day stand down period was imposed.
