Steward's Report

Infinite Wish and Major League were slow to begin.  Destini Fireball, Newfire Riley and Sweet It Is collided soon after the start.  Infinite Wish, Maddison Dee, Destini Fireball and Sweet It Is collided on the first turn.  Destini Fireball and Sweet It Is collided approaching the second turn.  Infinite Wish checked off Maddison Dee approaching the second turn.  Major League and Newfire Riley collided approaching the second turn.  Infinite Wish and Newfire Riley collided approaching the third turn.  Infinite Wish, Maddison Dee and Newfire Riley collided approaching the fifth turn and again on the fifth turn, checking Infinite Wish, Maddison Dee and Major League.  Newfire Riley checked off Czar approaching the home turn.  Newfire Riley and Czar collided on the home turn. 

Stewards spoke to the trainer of Sweet It Is, Mr Len Jones regarding the improved performance of Sweet It Is.  Mr Jones advised Stewards that the greyhound had been freshened up and was purposely down in weight for tonight's event.  Considering these two points, Mr Jones was of the opinion that the greyhound would perform well.  Stewards noted his explanation.
