Rebelation crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Gettin Slizzard, Slipaway Mavis, Sahara and Voltage Peak. Mexico Joe checked off McBride approaching the first turn. Gettin Slizzard checked off Slipaway Mavis entering the back straight. Gettin Slizzard to faltered entering the back straight and tailed off. Slipaway Mavis checked off Sahara approaching the second turn. Spiral Staircase and Slipaway Mavis collided several times approaching the home turn checking Spiral Staircase.
Spiral Staircase was vetted following the event and revetted following race 10. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left tricep. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
