Joshua Bale and Slick Scooby collided soon after the start checking Little Regus and Joshua Bale. Reverend Matchy, Consols, Slick Jetta, Slick Scooby and Little Regus collided on the first turn severely checking Slick Scooby which pulled up as a result. Consols checked off Reverend Matchy approaching the home turn severely checking Consols, Joshua Bale and Slick Jetta, Joshua Bale fell as a result.
Joshua Bale was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury.
Slick Scooby was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a fracture to the left wrist and was humanely euthanised.
