He's Ma Bro was slow to begin. Tobias Kelton was checked off Machiko approaching the first turn. Dr. Cadenza and Shreddin' collided approaching the first turn checking Dr. Cadenza. Tobias Kelton and Dr. Cadenza collided approaching the first turn checking Tobias Kelton and severely checking Dr. Cadenza. Tobias Kelton was checked off Dr. Toretto approaching the home turn. Shreddin' and Darpa Bale collided on the home turn checking Darpa Bale. Shreddin' eased in the home straight. He's Ma Bro raced wide in the home straight.
Shreddin' was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured right monkey muscle and right chest, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.
Steward's spoke to Mrs. L. Hellmuth the trainer of the greyhound Shreddin' regarding the greyhound's racing manners in the home straight. Acting under GAR 69(A)(1) Stewards charged Shreddin' with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mrs. Hellmuth pleaded not guilty to the charge, Shreddin' was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Warragul and it was directed that the greyhound perform a satisfactory trial all tracks pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
