Enchanting Image was a late scratching at 1:42pm due to the greyhound being on season (GAR 24). A 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Amigo was a late scratching at 1:28pm on Veterinary advice (GAR 37)(fleas). No stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate of clearance, before any future nomination will be accepted. 

Critic was slow to begin. Online, Pink Shoelaces and Classy Sparks collided on the first turn checking Online. Classy Sparks and Where's Dex Star collided entering the back straight. Online, Pink Shoelaces, Flat Twin and Critic collided entering the back straight. Online and Pink Shoelaces collided in the back straight severely checking Pink Shoelaces and Online which raced wide. Flat Twin and Where's Dex Star collided on the second turn. Critic and Flat Twin collided on the home turn and entering the home straight. Online raced wide in the home straight.

Pink Shoelaces was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left triangle injury. A stand down period of 7 days was imposed.

San Pablo was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound suffered from cramp and thumps. No stand down period was imposed. 

Stewards spoke to Mr. C. Haas, the trainer of the greyhound San Pablo.  Acting in accordance with GAR 71 (Cramp), Stewards directed that the greyhound must perform a Satisfactory Trial before any future nomination will be accepted.

A pre-race sample was unable to be obtained from Piccolo Panter a post-race sample was subsequently taken.

Satisfactory Trial Results - Shout Out Loud trialled over the 425mts from box 3, weight 27.9kg, the greyhound was placed 3rd in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 24.21, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 5.25L. Shout Out Loud was Cleared. 

Satisfactory Trial Results (Blinkers) - Sip Slowly trialled over the 425mts from box 1, weight 31.3kg, the greyhound was placed 4th in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 24.21, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 7L. Sip Slowly was Cleared To Race In Blinkers. 

Satisfactory Trial Results - Full Of Hope trialled over the 425mts from box 5, weight 26.2kg, the greyhound was placed 1st in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 24.21, the greyhound won by a margin of 1.25L. Full Of Hope was Cleared. 

Satisfactory Trial Results (GAR 77A) - Stewards spoke to Mr. G. Paull, the trainer of Jimmaringle regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced.  Jimmaringle last raced on 23rd March 2016. Mr. Paull stated that the greyhound was returning from injuries to both stoppers. Pursuant to GAR 77A, Jimmaringle trialled over the 425mts from box 8, weight 37.3kg, the greyhound was placaed 2nd Jimmaringle was Cleared.
