A pre-race sample was taken from Tiggerlong Nosey.
Coolan King was quick to begin. Tiggerlong Nosey, Roman Around and Gone Rusty collided soon after the start checking Roman Around. Tiggerlong Nosey, Roger's In Town and Gone Rusty collided approaching the first turn checking Gone Rusty. Coolan King and Latifi Cee Jay collided approaching the first turn. Roman Around and Gone Rusty collided approaching the first turn. Coolan King and Latifi Cee Jay collided approaching the home turn and again entering the home straight. Gone Rusty raced wide entering the home straight.
Gone Rusty was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left deltoid and both groins. A stand down period of 14 days was imposed.
