Steward's Report
Call Me Waylan was slow to begin. Vanderville Kid and Grand Maximus collided soon after the start. Vanderville Kid and Call Me Waylan collided approaching the first turn. San Pablo and Mepunga Tycoon collided on the first turn. Call Me Waylan and Grand Maximus collided on the first turn and again on the home turn. San Pablo and Latifi Zeus collided entering the home straight. San Pablo faltered in the home straight and fell approaching the winning post.
San Pablo was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound suffered from cramp and thumps. No stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr. C. Haas, the trainer of the greyhound San Pablo. Acting in accordance with GAR 71 (Cramp), Stewards directed that the greyhound must perform a Satisfactory Trial before any future nomination will be accepted.
