Stewards spoke to Ms. S. Elmes, the trainer of Avatar Thor regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Avatar Thor last raced on 14 Dec 16. Ms. Elmes stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following an extended spell.  Ms Elmes also declared a new weight of 31.5kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2).  Avator Thor last raced at 30.4kg.

MEETING COMMENTS:

Satisfactory Trial Results - Zelemar Leap trialled over the 425m from box 1, weight 28.2kgs, the greyhound was placed 2nd in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 24.20, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 5 3/4 lengths. Zelemar Leap was cleared. 

Satisfactory Trial Results - Caco Potion trialled over the 425m from box 8, weight 31.3kgs, the greyhound was placed 1st in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 24.20, the greyhound won by a margin of 5 3/4 lengths. Caco Potion was cleared.
