Sudden Change was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.  Mr D Trewin, trainer of the greyhound Sudden Change, declined for the greyhound to be re-vetted.  Stewards spoke to Mr D Trewin, the trainer of the greyhound Sudden Change, regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the home turn.  Acting under GAR 69(A)(1) Stewards charged Sudden Change with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment.  Mr Trewin pleaded guilty to the charge, Sudden Change was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Warrnambool and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Shout Aloud was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Stewards spoke to Mr D Drew, the trainer of Aston Upton, regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Aston Upton last raced on 1 January 2017.  Mr Drew stated that the greyhound was resuming racing following a change of kennel.
