Steward's Report

Reverend John was quick to begin.  Sisco Blast and All Inn Genghis were slow to begin.  Claretown Happy and Greysynd Silk collided approaching the first turn, checking Claretown Happy.  Sisco Blast, Claretown Happy and All Inn Genghis collided on the first turn.  Sisco Blast checked off Swift Fozz on the first turn, checking Claretown Happy and All Inn Genghis.  All Inn Genghis marred Sisco Blast in the home straight and again approaching the winning post, checking Sisco Blast.

All Inn Genghis was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained swelling to the left hindleg tibia, a seven day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr J Formosa, the representative of the greyhound All Inn Genghis, regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight.  Acting under GAR 69(1) Stewards charged All Inn Genghis with marring.  Mr Formosa pleaded guilty to the charge, All Inn Genghis was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Shepparton and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
