Dr. Condor, Maybe Hannibal, Call Me Matt and Belle Deity were slow to begin.  Hannah Bear and Runnin' On Fire collided on the first turn checking Runnin' On Fire.  Dr. Condor was checked off Maybe Hannibal on the first turn. Fawn Nova was checked off Runnin' On Fire approaching the second turn. Runnin' On Fire clipped the heels of Hannah Bear in the back straight.

Maybe Hannibal was vetted following the event and rev-vetted following event 6, It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured right triangle muscle, a 14 day stand down peiod was imposed.

Dr. Compulsion and Diamond were slow to begin.  Taabinga Fella was very slow to begin (4 lengths).  Barroom Counsel, Wot Price Flash, Fear The Boss and Diamond collided approaching the first turn.  Fear The Boss and Barroom Counsel collided on the first turn.  Diamond and Wot Price Flash collided on the first turn.  Dr. Compulsion and Fear The Boss collided approaching the second turn.

Stewards spoke to Mr. S. Whyte the trainer of Little Vossy regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Little Vossy last raced on 20/11/16.  Mr. Whyte stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following a seasonal spell.

Summer Nights, Reatily Shintaro and Lopsided were slow to begin.  Summer Nights and Willowvale Wings collided soon after the start.  Beyond Manapa, Reatily Shintaro and Lopsided collided on the first turn.  Summer Nights, Beyond Manapa, Reatily Shintaro and Lopsided collided approaching the second turn severely checking Beyond Manapa and Reatily Shintaro.

Born Molly was a late scratching at 5.50pm due to the greyhound being on season (GAR 24).  A 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Brooker the trainer of In Like Flint regarding the greyhound's racing manners entering the home straight.  Stewards also spoke to Mr. Brooker regarding the greyhound's racing manners in the home straight, after viewing the head on footage Stewards took no further action.
