Stewards spoke to Mr. G Allen, the trainer of the greyhound Tree Climber Liv regarding the greyhounds racing manners at the 150m mark.  Tree Climber Liv was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained minor lacertations to the left wrist and left hind toe, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.  Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Tree Climber Liv with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr. Allen pleaded not guilty to the charge, Tree Climber Liv was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a), before any future nomination will be accepted.

Whipstick Flyer, Wot Price Flash and Manx Knight were slow to begin.  Magic Rusty crossed to the rail soon after the start, checking Marvelous Miss, Wot Price Flash and Whipstick Flyer.  Wot Price Flash and Marvelous Miss collided at the 250m mark.  Whipstick Flyer and Manx Knight collided at the 250m mark.  Wot Price Flash and Mardella collided at the 100m mark, checking Mardella.

Runaway Ellie and Heavenly Star were slow to begin.  Runaway Ellie crossed to the outside soon after the start.  Hello Sunshine and Mahogany Diamond collided several times from the 200m mark until the 150m mark, checking Mahogany Diamond.  Flotilla and Hello Sunshine collided at the 50m mark.

This race was delayed be approximately three and a half minutes due to the Hobart thoroughbreds running late. 

Penance Allen was quick to begin.  Deadly Clear was slow to begin.  Stop Senoring and Walk On By collided soon after the start.  Royal Knocka and Stop Senoring collided at the 300m mark.   Black Mumbo,, Begin Again, Royal Knocka and Stop Senoring collided at the 250m mark, checking Begin Again and Royal Knocka.  Volksjager Blue and Penance Allen collided at the 200m mark.  Volksjager Blue and Deadly Clear collided at the 50m mark, checking Volksjager Blue.

Volksjager Blue was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured left wrist and left shoulder, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Bar No Blue went up with the lids at box rise and was slow to begin.  Miner Rush was slow to begin.  Lektra Luther crossed to the outside soon after the start and collided with Hot And Lonesome.  Miner Rush checked off Oxygen Bandit approaching the winning post.

Classy Boy was slow to begin.  Hardaway Law, Blue McCool and Senor Gold collided at the 150m mark, severely checking Hardaway Law.  Lunchless and Senor Gold collided at the 50m mark.

Hardaway Law was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured right monkey muscle, a 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Hestia Bale was a late scratching at 11.04am due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer J Hardy was fined the sum of $100.

Bark A Shakin and Wayward Wind collided soon after the start.  Wayward Wind and Irish Connection collided several times from soon after the start until the 300m mark.  Uncatchable and Jazaan's Boy collided at the 250m mark.  Irish Connection and Moto Warrior collided at the 250m mark.  Barn A Shakin crossed to the outside at the 150m mark.

Mr. J Frusher, trainer of Bombora Flash declared a new weight of 28.1kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Bombora Flash last raced at 27.0kgs.

Redding went up with the lids at box rise and was slow to begin.  Bombora Flash, Unexcuseable and Ruby's Faith collided soon after the start.  Bombora Flash and Unexcuseable collided several times at the 250m mark.  Ruby's Faith and Argyle Diamond collided at the 200m mark.

Satisfactory Trial Results (GAR 77A) - Stewards spoke to Mr. J Delaroche, the trainer of One Dark Night regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced.  One Dark Night last raced on 13 July 2015. Mr. Delaroche stated that the greyhound was returning from an injured back muscle.  Pursuant to GAR 77A, One Dark Night trialled over the 350m from box 1, weight 33.8kgs, the greyhound was placed 4th in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 19.48, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 7.25 lengths. One Dark Night was cleared.

Satisfactory Trial Results (GAR 77A) - Stewards spoke to Mr.  J Delaroche, the representative of Dee Plane Wayne regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced.  Dee Plane Wayne last raced on 9 June 2015. Mr.Delaroche stated that the greyhound was returning from an injured hock.  Pursuant to GAR 77A, Dee Plane Wayne trialled over the 350m from box 7, weight 36.5kgs, the greyhound was placed 3rd in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 19.48, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 4.5 lengths. Dee Plane Wayne was cleared.

Mr.Delaroche stated that the greyhound was returning from an injured hock.  Pursuant to GAR 77A, Winsome Prince trialled over the 350m from box 5, weight 37.4kgs, the greyhound was placed 2nd in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 19.48, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 1.25 lengths. Winsome Prince was cleared.
